A picture sometimes says more than 1000 words
Stupa filled with 5000 skulls
"It is a cruel, cruel world"
In history class we learn a lot about the european history, thinking that Hitlers massacre is something of the worst ever done, nad it is on of them, but there is so much more horrifieng history around the world including genocide.
The Killing Fields in Cambodia is one of them.
"The Killing Fields were a number of sites in Cambodia where large numbers of people were killed and buried by the Communist Khmer Rouge regime leaded by Pol Pot, an asshole. During its rule of the country from 1975 to 1979. Estimates of the number of dead (execution, disease and starvation together) range from 1.4 to 2.2 million out of a population of around 7 million. In 1979 Communist Vietnam invaded the country, which at that time was officially called Democratic Kampuchea, and toppled the Khmer Rouge regime." Wikpedia and Tittens words in a mixture.
Titten and Mr. Phung visited Chung Ek, where there is tonns of massgraves, and a stupa flled with skulls of the victims. Horrifiend sites showing us the cruilty of the world.
A movie from 1984, Killing field should be seen.
