In Vietnam almost everyone use motorbike. The country of millions and millions of motorbikes. Last year did the government in Vietnam say that everybody need to use a helmet. Everybody actually does. So no it is the country of millions and millions of helmets too.
Even Titten need to use a helmet, see photo over. One problem though his head is just too big filled with brain power so none fits, but almost is well enough in Vietnam.
The reason for the high helmet usage is that the fee for being taken is pretty high, but a mor eimportant reason is that it is a lot of work if you get taken. The bureaucracy in Vietnam is huge, that it takes some days to get it fixed. The lazy people don't want this job so they rather use a helmet. For the first time in history does actually a bueraucratic system help to get something done.
But there is of course one problem that kinda kills the purpose. Maybe you believe that this should help against how many people that get killed in the traffic. I should have wishes so too, but unfortunately are the same amount of people killed in the traffic after the implementation of the new use a helmet law.
The reasons for this are that the helmets they use are just not good and thick enough to save life in accidents. The people think the weather is too warm so the people rather take the risk of using helmets that unfortuantly does not help in possible accidents. The helmets have kinda just turned into some kind of new fashion and a fake security that maybe just makes the death tolls even worse in the long run. The different fashion helmets can be foundin all different colours and styles. Special ones for girls and boys etc.
