A palace- A grand palace

Titten went here four years ago and figured out he should check it out again. Still impressive, but not like last time. Titten concludes that he has seen a lot the last years, so he starts to need to see really magificent stuff before he gets impressed.

Titten meet some munks from Laos studying in Bangkok. They thought he looked like Steve Mc Manaman so Titten runned straight to the hairdresser, so now his hair is short.

A Budda, a big sleepy Budda

Titten visited a huge sleeping Budda. He kinda reminded me of my sleeping brother.

Flower Power

Thailands flower market number one in Bangkok. Here should you have been grandma!!!!

Ass

Death railway

Railway from the second world war. named death because of some decisis along the way. Last year titten biked the death road, this year he took the death railway instead, what will it be next year?????

Titten and some tigers

Titten and Ramtam 2, that tried to bite Titten
Tittens friend Ramtam the tiger and Mr Phung went home. Titten missed tiger Ramtam so he had to visit some other tigers. Tigers in India, now tigers in Thailand. Titten visited the Tiger temple. A lot of Tigers, not weird Titten just choosed to buy two Tiger beers. Soon two more......

A big tiger, a little sleepy
Another bigger tiger even more sleepy
A really cute tiger, just three months old, and loved to play. Just like Titten.......

Ramtam you msse dout on some good friends........

A tourist=five thai people

When it comes to weight. All rules have exceptions, but this one fits in 99 per cent.
In this photo a couple form Holland is blocking the view for Titten on a boat trip on Kwai river.

River Kwai and a famose bridge

Titten close to a bridge, a famose bridge

From a the second world war, and maybe more important famose from an old Hollywood movie makes this place to be the biggest tourist attraction in Thailand. Too many tourists but the bridge is interesting, and you can still see the bullet holes Many tourists, too many tourists.

Halong bay- romantic trip alone

Mr. Phung went back to Bangkok to go on a romantic trip with a thai girl he meet there, while Titten went on a trip alone to the romantic Halong Bay, another world heritage site and one of the choices under the selection of the world new seven natural wonders. If it was so pretty Titten is not sure about but nice it was. Halong is a place at sea with many rocks standing up from the ocean, reminding a little about the fjords in Norway. A lot of luxus for trip costing 45 US$. Titten meet an old guy with wife from Vietnam he meet under the world, he had many good stories and many conspiracy's theories.
Titten at Halong

hat does one of the rocks remind you of????
Titten alone in romantic Halong at sunset, it is a sad, sad world.

A storm came and not so romantic anymore
Titten found a hat, a cool hat.

Hoi An- Beach, guys, beer, old city and more beer

Small city in central Vietnam. Really popular among tourists so Titten didnt like it as much as this city maybe deserve. It is beautiful with a romantic beach, where Titten meet some people working with making sculpture while he was swimming in his thight boxer, offering free beer from Saigon. Half guy maybe, or just really nice. Titten also drinked the cheapest beer in the world, atleas the thinks it must be, and he turned into a model together with pretty girls that wanted something pretty by their side.
Titten in the sunset in Hoi Ans old world heritage town. Hoi An and its people
The world cheapest beer, my love beer, just two kroner or 30 cents. Yahooo.. can life be any better.

Danang- Vietnams Rio

Titten have been a lot in Rio of different reasons, and he must say that this Danang city must be a little forgotten by tourists, becuase it was really pretty and clean, with mountaitops and beaches. Not as pretty as Rio, but sill, at least probably less crime. We didnt have much time, just for a visit to a museum we waited to open 6.30 in the morning. The museum had a better location than it was interesting with many angkor kinda figures, so do not always belive your guidebook.

Mr Phungs city 2: Na Trang litt trangere

Some more about Mr. Phungs city Na Trang. We went on nice boat trip. See the photos from beautiful scenery and hot water. When we talk about beautiful, the worlds most beautiful woman Miss World competition will be held here this July. Titten at the boat
! Some girls outside the house. Titten promised to upload the photo on his blog, and as everybody knows Titten keeps his promises 19 out of 20 times. Unfortunatly did the girls probably not understand tittens handwriting, so they will probably never see it. Other pictuers of Grandpas dog, tats love to ride with Grandpa on his bike...yahoo wild dog!!!!

Backpacking= a lot of traveling time

Picture of Titten, ready (or maybe really not) for a new too long train ride.

Been a lot of traveling on this trip. The last month since I left Nepal: Approxiatly 24 hours in cars, 60 in Trains, 30 in bus and 10 in boats, 7 on airplanes and 15 minutes on a camel. Thats gives a total of 115, 25 hours. I have probably forgotten about some hours, the boat trip around Halong Bay is not calculated.

Since I came to Asia 3 months ago, this is the ways of traveling I have been doing.

1. Walking
2. Running
3. Car
5. Bike
6. Bike Cab
7. Tuk Tuk
8. Helicopter
9. Air plane
10. Bus
11. Camel
12. Boat
13. Row boat
14. Elephant
15. Train
16. Van

Too big for Asia

Titten have found out that he is too big for Asia. Difficult to find shoes, too small seats, too low doors, too low under the celling, sit hurts in the head and sometimes too small rest rooms. The showers often seems like they are suppose to be used for my small head and not the one with the brain, but most people in Asia can use it directly on their head, the big one not the small.

One head or more taller than the rest.... Everything is small in Asia, and I mean everything. But luckely it mostly very cute.....

e Here Titten have problems to fit in a toilet.

Photo over from the bus ride to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon. Not too much room in the bus, never much room in Asia. Other problem on the bus is that many vomits all the time. They are not used to ride them, and then when it is over crowded, extremly hot, bumpy, turny and a crazy driver that loves the gass and the breaks it all ends up in a big party in different plastic bags.

Chau doc- Rainy season

First town we visited in Vietnam- Chau doc. One of many rainy days.

Titten found an umbrella, a big umbrella. It made him think about a song about an unbrella, MYYYYYYUmbrella.

Schoolgirls in uniform on their way home from school in the rain. Almost wet uniform compition, but just almost, since worst of the rain had stopped.

At night the crazy girl joined us for dinner and we let our bike driver join us too. The food tasted excellent, we had a asian kind of fondue...mmmmmmm, not like the spiders in Cambodia at all.
Titten ended up playing with some children, they had ruined some dolls, but titten maaged to fix one of them with his surgery practise. The boy knows everything, except writing good english in a hurry.
An interesting thing in Vietnam is that the girls in the south is not too pretty, but when you travel further u North the prettier they get. Wonder if we can say the same about Norway, or maybe mor elike the further North the more they drink......

Communistic north- Hanoi

Titten on a nice bridge in Hanoi. Can you find him???????

On the night train to Hanoi we meet a nice family, and played a lot with a couple of cute girls (Photot to the right. The family didnt know any english so Mr. Phungs local knowledge helped a lot. Language barrier is definitly the hardest way, and probably still under valued by many international firms. Sad.............

Here the family and a friend, but without the their daugther. Mmmmm icecream is good!

We visited a litterature temple, where the smart people are honored. Should have been more places than this for honoring smart people and not just stupid people, like famose soccer players.

Titten beats the big drum for IQ and ideas!

Hue- world heritage, xich lo and shirt off

A nice city, former capital in the central part of Vietnam. We biked around with a couple of xich lo (bicycle cabs) around the city.

In part of the trip Mr. Phung took over as the driver.

Saw a couple of world hertage sights. Here Titten is taking the dragon by the horns

Went to see the sunset at a temple, where Titten just had to throw of his shirt. The result from healthy Asian living minus all the beer is shown. Norwegian diet is definitly not as healthy as the Asian one.

Miss Piggy and BamBam

Miss Piggy walking around her family looking for food on the floor

BamBam ready to hit Mr. Phung

A noisy family on the train to Na Trang. We learnt a lot about how not to behave. Do not hit your children. Men should do some work too, not as much as in Norway but almost. When the guys went into another wagon to drink the motheres talked a lot of crap about their husbands to eachoter. Mr. Phung understood and Titten used him as translator. When the husbands returned everything eneded up more silent.

Mss piggy is the daugther to one of the couples. She is a little chubby girl, careless about life, eating everything in her way. Mmmmm chips on the floor.... She is definitly the most interesting figure we meet in Vietnam. Titten wonder how she will be in the years. Then there was a little baoy, that hitted everything h could fine. In he photo towards Mr. Phung. he boy is definitly learning from his father.

Mr. Phungs city

Na Trang, the city where Mr. Phung was born in 1983. A nice town with a mixture of the real Vietnam and another Las Vegas part for tourists. Nice beach and really warm water. For Mr. Phung was it great to see his old town again for Titten the ocean that he hadnt seen for three months, new record. Weird how much you can miss the ocean.

We lived in a house owned by Mr Phungs mother and father, where an old relative of MR. Phungs father lived. He was very helpful and Mr. Phung learnt thing about his father he didnt know, he is deffinitly a bette drinker than his son. Below a photo of Mr. Phung and Grandpa at the romantic beach. Here Titten at the beach really happy to be back close to the sea.
